Katniss Everdeen in Catching Fire: Look#1

I just saw Catching Fire last night and I was totally inspired by all the makeups in that movie! I plan on doing a series of makeup tests inspired by Katniss Everdeen's makeups in Catching Fire and this is going to be the first one.

I loove this makeup (her wedding makeup) because it's quite simple, there's not much to it, but it actually looks stunning and elegant.

I don't have JLaw's bone structure and other features but it was fun recreating this look. :)

This is me doing some highlighting and contouring.

This is what it looks like when it's blended together.

Sorry but I don't have other photos of the other steps I made in producing this look.
The following shots are of the finished product.

A top-side view of the makeup (and hair).
For the hair I just had 2 braids and placed them across the top of my head and tied the rest of my hair into a bun.

A close-up look of the makeup

For the face, I used:
Clarins Eclat Minute Instant Light Perfector in 02
Maybelline Dream Liquid Mousse Foundation in Medium Beige
Maybelline 24hr SuperStay Foundation
Orgasm blush by NARS
Dark foundation for contouring
Pink lipstick from Lancome
Pink lipgloss from Clinique

For the eyes, I used:
Silver e/s from ELF quad in drama
Dark gray and browbone shimmer e/s from Nordstrom Fall Essentials Beauty Palette
Maybelline Eye Studio Gel Liner in 01 Black
Covergirl Liquiline Blast Eyeliner in Silver Spark
Brown eyebrow cake from James Cooper
and some crystal stickers

Here is the finished look alongside my inspiration picture of
Katniss Everdeen in her wedding look.

I plan on doing Katniss' look at the Capitol Presidential Party featuring her
fiery red eye makeup and braided hair.

I hope you guys found this helpful, although it isn't a tutorial, and try recreating
Catching Fire looks as well since they are very playful and somewhat out of the ordinary.

Thanks for dropping by! :) x
